Training your pet to use the litter box is a lesson that must begin when they are young. Remember that cats do prefer a fresh litter box. You need to do your share to make it a pleasant experience. It’s been noted that if the litter is not cleaned frequently, but everywhere else in the house is clean, the cat may head for those clean areas instead of its box, such as the corner of a lovely rug!

With time and patient observation you’ll come to appreciate that a cat’s independent nature allows a wide variety of moods, which are either playful or aggressive. A cat will normally enjoy some playful interaction, however it can change its mind just as willfully and decide it’s had enough. Of course as a cat owner you likely already know that, and are just learning to ‘go with the flow’!
