Placing Your Cat Or Dog Into A Boarding Kennel (Part 2)

Try not to delay saying goodbye. Make sure to act as if you’ll be back soon and your cat or dog will have less anxiety and enjoy the stay more.

Finally, when it’s time to get your dog or cat after your trip, keep in mind that they’ll no doubt be excited. Take a couple of hours for some ‘down time’. Don’t be in a hurry to feed them, as that, along with their excitement might bring on some discomfort. They will soon settle back into the regular pattern of life.
