Child Proof Your Dog Or Cat (Part 2)

Small tykes, whether in the family or dropping by, need to be trained how best to play with their pet. It’s important that they be warned it is not a plaything, and that it needs care like any living thing. Tugging, pulling, slapping, hitting, or other obnoxious actions will not be tolerated, and you should have in place some form of punishment to tell the child how serious this is.

If the little tykes are visitors, a way for young ones and pet to play together well is in some outdoor activities, like taking the cat or dog for a jog or run, walking the dog when he needs to go out, playing catch, or other things. These activities can be useful, as they teach the little ones the responsibility of taking care of a cat or dog.

Raising a cat or dog is a wonderful memory for little tykes. With just a bit of thought and care, it can likewise be a great event for your pet.
