|

Kidney failure is permanent, and so the earlier you can treat it the better. With a major illness like this, early detection is vital – and that is the case for any cat health issue.
Checking your pet yourself is a first step. For instance, are their nose or eyes runny, check your pet’s fur, looking for changes like hair loss, look for foul odors, watch if they they walk properly, without limping, and also check other aspects of their appearance. While not everything will likely be fine with your cat or dog, so pay careful attention to any changes, as these may be a warning of a problem starting.
Obviously, if your pet food is a recalled products, right away throw it out. Be careful that your pet cannot dig it out of the garbage (or animals out of when it is put in the trash). You can also return product if it’s unopened for a refund, whenever possible.
