Teaching your cat to use the litterbox is a lesson that must start when they are young. Remember that cats prefer a clean litterbox. You must do your share to make it pleasant. It’s been seen that if the box isn’t cleaned frequently, but everywhere else in the house is clean, then your pet may go for those clean areas instead of its box, such as the edge of a rug.

Over time and with careful observation you’ll come to appreciate that your pet’s independent nature still allows a variety of attitudes, which can be both aggressive or playful. A cat will often enjoy playful interaction, however it can change its mind just as quickly and decide it’s had enough. Of course as a cat owner you already know that, and are learning to ‘go with the flow’!
