Teaching a cat to use the litterbox is a lesson that should commence when young. Keep in mind that cats do enjoy a clean litter box. You need to do your share to make it a pleasant experience. It’s been noted that if the litter isn’t cleaned frequently, but the rest of the home is cleaned, the cat may go for the clean areas away from its box, such as the edge of a lovely rug!

With time and patient attention you will come to realize that a cat’s independent nature still allows for a variety of attitudes, which are both aggressive or playful. A cat will often enjoy some playful interaction, however it can change its mind just as willfully and decide enough is enough. But as a cat owner you probably already know that, and are just learning to go with the flow!
